A sweet escape, they say, is like having a break with the people you love, in a beautiful place where you can’t just enjoy the view but you’re also given the chance to do your favorite sport.

To great surfers and even to those who love surfing as their sport, Rincon, Puerto Rico is the best place for great vacation. It’s one of the remarkable and famous surf spots in the whole world and the name has been there in the hot list since 1968. With the mild climate combined with the taste of a tropical marine plus the hospitality of Puerto Ricans, it will surely make up a terrific experience.

Waves in Rincon are generated from the east coast of America and are actually out of long period swells from winter storms crossing the Atlantic, making the experience more and more challenging.

Famous surf spots in Rincon include Tres Palmas that is located at the village of Rincon; Marias; Domes; Sandy Beach that is located on the main beach of puntas next to Antonio’s beach; Corcega Beach; Indicators Beach that is located just to the left of Lighthouse Park; Antonio’s Beach that is located next to Sandy Beach near Casa Islena; Spanich Wall Beach that is at the corner of Rincon; and Maria’s Beach with the whale-shaped beach sign on way to the Lighthouse Park. For beginners on the surfing world, Punta Higuero and Little Malibu can be well-fit because waves on these area are calm and not huge. Others can also visit the area of Dunes and Montones. There are actually even a lot more surf spots that surfers can visit when they get to Rincon and although the drawback could be the crowdedness of these areas, the quality waves that are as good as the people living there are enough to offset.

Season for great surfing is around October and it usually ends around April while others say that among these months, February can give the surfers the greatest experience of satisfaction.

Surfing is a sport riding on the crest or along the tunnel of a wave, especially while standing or lying on a surfboard. Most of the Serious surfers know that the three best places to surf in the United States are Hawaii, California and Puerto Rico. Among these, Puerto Rico is perhaps the least famous. Considering the clean water and reasonable accomodations and few crowds most of the top surfers love it.

Summertime is still the best to surf in all coasts in Puerto Rico however, the main point in surfing remains on the north and northwest coasts during winter swells. During these season the place is very colorful all the surf spots are filled with local travelers riding every form of watercraft. It is just like Hawaii.

One of the prominent surfing place is Rincon where the first World Championship in 1969 of Surfing was held in Rincon’s Sandy Beach. Parking Lots, Dogmans and the Little Malibu are few of the most curious surfing place as well.

Perhaps the coolest thing about a Puerto Rico surf trip is its accessibility for US residents because it does not requires passports, no currency exchange, and it’s just a short flight from the international airports along the eastern seaboard. Adding up the crystal clear water, consistent year-round surf, and a relatively safe vacationing environment for families, and you can see why Puerto Rico is such a popular surf destination.

Surfing along the spots in Rincon, Puerto Rico is one of the best ways to enjoy and completely have a quality time with family and loved ones. With its amazing taste of hospitality and the very naturally gifted and lovely view of the place, everyone who visits will surely get a total degree of relaxation.

Surfers who have been hooked with the sport have acquired the title of being the usual visitors of the place. And there are those who continue to discover not just the wonderful blessing of nature but also surfing as a new sport of theirs.

Surfing is one tough sport to start with. It’s like being sent off to a quiz show; you can’t bring home the trophy without great preparation prior to that. But once you succeed, you own the pride and honour of being a great achiever. Same is true with surfing. You need to get to know the surfing basics in order for you to attain satisfaction.

First, a person new to surfing world must pick the right surf spot to start the adventure. A right surf spot for the beginners may be a calm beach not so close to the crowd with waves about three feet high.

Next is the right way to paddle a surfboard. This one requires a lot of practice. Paddling is beyond pushing the arms through the water while lying on the surfboard. The surfer will find an area where water is waist-deep before he can lie on the board. A font crawl stroke with the hand is then demonstrated, cupping the hands to make each stroke effective. The key is to determine the spot where one’s weight is balanced while he’s keeping up the speed.

Third is how one manages to stand up and sway with the waves. Before reaching this stage, a lot of patience and practice takes place. This process requires a leap from the prone position as the weight in all directions are repositioned, ensuring that the upright position is maintained.

With proper preparation, everyone can be a great surfer someday.

Women, nowadays, do things that men do. As time is passing, the barrier between the two is slowly breaking. In fact, there are sports that both sexes are qualified to join and one of these is surfing. Unlike men, surfing for women involves a bit of this and that. Surfing for women is not just a matter of extreme and plain surfing. A lot of extra-activities is included in the package.

Female surfers have been riding and dealing with the waves all along. While a proper surf gear is introduced, some women prefer to wear their bikinis as they ride the waves and it’s more like tanning and surfing at the same time.

Despite of those little differences, they have been recognized more in the media today and there are a number of female surfers who endorse the sports’ products while they do some touring. However, how surfing works with men is basically the same with how it works with women, regardless of the minor differences that have been considered. The process is the same. Surfing basics apply to both sexes. Thus, the steps work on women too. Much to their advantage, some tourist photographers discovered that these lady surfers who wear bikinis are able to break guys’ necks. This is the reason why these photographers use their skills to capture the amazing performances of these lady surfers.

At the end of the day, the paradise of Rincon, Puerto Rico caters not just through its picturesque surf spots but also to other activities that women are involved into. There are yoga retreats made available and a shopping place is never missing in Rincon. And there are villas that are inviting and charming waiting for the lady surfers after a whole day activity.

Women, nowadays, do things that men do. As time is passing, the barrier between the two is slowly breaking.
